Established in 2014 by a team of construction veterans with 6+ years of experience in residential subcontracting and 12+ in commercial construction, we are passionate about creating spaces that reflect our clients’ personalities. Over the years, we’ve worked with all sorts of companies big and small. Our founder, Ryan Johnson, entered the construction industry as a residential sub-contractor – steadily building an insatiable hunger to expand his horizons. While working full-time, Ryan graduated with Magna Cum Laude from Arizona State University’s School of Engineering for Construction Management. Shortly after, he started working for Okland Construction in the commercial landscape – a position he thrived in for almost 10 years. From mixed-use condos to big box shopping, retail, schools, universities, and even the Gilbert Arizona Temple, Ryan has worked on his fair share of projects.

As Ryan’s time with Okland came to a close, he started a pool company while training in repair and maintenance with one of the nation’s largest pool companies. Later on, Ryan was invited to Rome by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to assist with the construction of a Hotel, Chapel, and Visitor Center in their 15-acre Temple Complex. 

During his time in Italy with his family, Ryan swiftly learned to speak fluent Italian while working with some of the oldest stone quarries known to man. His invaluable insight and $500M+ experience has shaped Ryan into the industry veteran he is today.

Ryan returned home in 2018 to establish Arcadia, focusing on delivering sophisticated commercial and residential construction services. As the nation’s licensed general contractor of choice, there’s no vision Arcadia can’t bring to life.
