Our Story

Our founder, Ryan Johnson, entered the construction industry in 2003 as a residential sub-contractor and steadily built an insatiable hunger to expand his horizons. While working full-time, Ryan graduated magna cum laude from Arizona State University’s School of Engineering for Construction Management.

Shortly after, he started working for Okland Construction in the commercial landscape. He thrived in that position for almost ten years. Ryan has worked on his fair share of projects, such as mixed-use condos, big-box shopping, retail, schools, universities, and even the Rome Italy Temple .

As Ryan’s time with Okland Construction ended, Ryan started Arcadia Building Company to pioneer out on his own as a construction professional. Shortly after starting the company, he was invited to go participate in the construction of the Rome Italy Temple for the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. After completing of the project and having learned Fluent Italian, he returned to grow Arcadia into the professional General Contracting company he knew it could be. 

During his time in Italy with his family, Ryan swiftly learned to speak fluent Italian while working with some of the oldest stone quarries known to man. His invaluable insight and experience with projects worth over $500M have shaped Ryan into the industry veteran he is today.

After 5 years of successful projects and building new industry relationships Arcadia had a unique opportunity to welcome Tricia Bair – Finchum.
